The Journey Begins

Hello everybody!

In case you missed it, my name is Kiersten and I would like to officially welcome you to the first post on the blog. I am so nervous but mostly excited to be doing this. If someone were to ask me right now how I was feeling about someone actually reading this…10 being okay, 1 being not okay…my rating would be a 1. I am actually pretty nervous doing this. Just the idea of someone taking the time out of their day to read this, on this blog, is a little nerve wracking. Just imagining what you all must be thinking while reading this is setting me a little on edge about actually joining the blogging community. But hey, I started and here we are. First post is underway, whether I like it or not.

Starting a blog is something that has actually been an idea for about a year or so now. I have just been wanting to create my own little corner that I could call my own, find my creative side, and express what I love in my passion of writing and books. I’ve just never actually started it until now because I never really had a main niche or goal set for the blog. I still don’t really, but I’m sure once I get into blogging a little more, that is going to change.

If you guys are interested in topics related to life, books, travel, politics and religion then this is the blog for you. A bit of a variety of interests, I know, but those are just some topic ideas of what you could see while here. If you are lucky, you might even see the occasional food and DIY post.

Anyway, until I get into blogging a little more, I’m not going to promise anything on a blogging schedule. I will promise, however, to blog on a regular basis just to keep you all in the loop.

Well, I guess that’s all for now. I hope you guys decide to join me on this new adventure, but if not, that’s okay.

Thanks again for stopping by!

I only just started blogging too over at notesfromarshi.com and although there is a LOT of hard work put into it and you have to be VERY patient, there’s something so rewarding in having something you can call your own. Good luck and I look forward to seeing more from you!
